

Pokimane, also known as Imane Anys, was recently banned from her favorite streaming platform, Twitch, due to a DMCA strike. However, the ban was not a lengthy one, with the award-winning star returning to streaming on January 10, 2022.

In her latest 12-hour stream, Pokimane featured a variety of content ranging from playing video games like Valorant and addressing the controversy revolving around the ban. Interestingly, apart from this, she also talked about streaming helped her cope with various difficulties in her personal life. Pokimane reveals what 12-hour streams remind her of
The 2020 Forbes 30 Under 30 featured honoree starts off by talking about her initial streaming days when she was in University. She divides her streaming career in three phases; the start, the decision to go full time, and after becoming a full-time streamer.

She explains how longer streams remind her of the time in between the three phrases. She stated, “So that middle period… I guess that’s what it reminds me of, like it’s very nostalgic, is especially like my first..mainly my second year of university. I was like 20-21.”
