The third episode of the HBO Max’s The Last of Us is garnering praise like no other. The series based on Naughty Dog’s magnum opus is on its path to becoming one of the greatest pieces of visual storytelling that graced the screens this year. One of the leads of the show Murray Bartlett recently appeared in Stephen Colbert’s show, talking about his experience working with Nick Offerman in the episode.
This episode featured the characters of Bill and Frank who briefly appeared in the original game, which was released back in 2013. In the game, their relationship was very vague, it was almost left for the interpretation of the players. Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann took the open-ended piece and wrote a standalone episode that is, according to some, “one of the greatest moments in television history”.
