Redditor creates a fan-made GTA 6 trailer

A Redditor named GibbsonTV recently shared a video on a GTA 6 subreddit. This video caught a lot of attention on the server because it was a GTA 6 trailer. However, Rockstar Games is yet to release the official trailer for their upcoming Grand Theft Auto game. So how did this Redditor get his hands on the GTA 6 trailer?

In reality, the trailer Gibbson shared on Reddit is fan-made that he created. This Redditor is a 3D animator who also has a Youtube channel, where he uploads custom fan-made trailers of various video games. He used a blender to create this fan-made trailer for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6.

On a closer look at the trailer, the characters that appeared in this didn’t match the art style used to design GTA characters. There is a possibility that the 3D animator used free character models from other games to create this fan-made GTA 6 trailer. But ignoring the characters, it was definitely an entertaining trailer. Rockstar Games can take some notes for creating the official trailer for this game.

How did fans react to this fan-made trailer?

Fans were amazed to see this Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer by a fellow fan of the game. However, they complained about the characters and some of the settings which didn’t look similar to how Rockstar Games does in their GTA titles. Some fans even claimed that this trailer looked more similar to other games like Fortnite and Saints Row. Meanwhile, they also advised Gibbson to sell this to a mobile game developer, as it could be a great mobile phone game.
