Will Insomniac release a game on Wolverine?

Recently a fan took his X (formerly Twitter) and published an image of Marvel’s Wolverine game poster that also revealed the PS logo on the upper left side. Posting this image, this fan wrote- “Can you imagine if Insomniac games actually pull off Wolverine PS5 for 2024?” In this image, fans spotted the mutant Wolverine in his superhero costume. And since then the excitement reached a new height.

In 2021, both Sony and Insomniac announced that their solo Wolverine game is under development for Sony’s PlayStation 5. However, since Insomniac went busy with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, there have been no more updates about Wolverine. But fans got to know from an industry insider that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s senior cinematic animator, Tommy Mann, is also vested in Wolverine to charge up the game’s developmental progress. Since, neither Sony nor Marvel confirmed this news, it wasn’t really assuring for fans.
