Now, Felix has given yet another insight, revealing the child’s gender in the most unique way possible.

PewDiePie makes a Japanese-style gender reveal

Gender reveals have a terrible rep, because of the recent accidents that were caused by irresponsible celebratory rituals. But PewDiePie opted for the most beautiful and fantasy-inspired gender reveal possible. On May 5, Pewds posted a vlog where he celebrated Koinobori with Marzia and showed some floating fish, saying, “If you know what these mean, then you know the gender.”

Now, if you are familiar with Japanese culture, then you have already gotten your answer. But for those who are unaware, Koinobori is the equivalent of Children’s Day in the West. Where Japanese families hoist fish-shaped flags to pray for their children’s prosperity and health. But in ancient times, this tradition had another meaning.
