The tussle of picking between a physical or digital copy is a long drawn-out battle. Each player has their own preferences. But even as the latest title in Rockstar Games’ ultra-popular open-world series GTA, is nowhere to be seen as of yet, there has been no shortage of rumors and leaks regarding the same. One thing is clear, no matter what, with GTA 6 surely somewhere in the pipeline, the debate is raging on!

Rockstar Games might reveal it any day now, and this game is surely going to once again break sales records like its predecessors. Most of the fanbase is aware of this. But they are more curious about another pressing matter: the physical copy of GTA 6.

Physical copies of games are getting rarer by the day. One of the biggest releases of the year, Starfield, did not get a physical release. It made sense too; Microsoft has been swiftly moving towards an all-digital future ever since they announced the Xbox Game Pass.

But Rockstar Games does not have any such thing going on; they even launched a physical copy of Red Dead Redemption on the Nintendo Switch. Hence, as past track records go, it would only make sense for the developer to release physical editions of GTA 6 at launch.
