After teasing the fans with bits and pieces of Call of Duty Modern Warfare III, Activision finally decided to give them a bigger morsel. According to the newest announcement, there will soon be a reveal of Modern Warfare III.

Call of Duty announced an event set in Warzone that reveals details about Modern Warfare III. The tweet came with the Vault edition art, announcing a reveal event set for August 17, dubbed Shadow Siege.

Call of Duty Warzone is set to include a Modern Warfare III reveal event

After the release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II last year, fans knew a sequel was in the works. After all, the last Modern Warfare series had three installments and fans wanted more of Soap, Ghost, and Captain Price. Well, this reveal event for the game in Warzone is sure to make them excited.

Called Shadow Siege, the new announcement brings news of a reveal event set in Warzone, Call of Duty’s battle royale, on August 17. Along with it, the tweet also brought visual art, depicting a snake slithering in and out of a skull. Needless to say, the news has fans hyped to a whole new level.

Fans cannot wait for the event

Following the announcement, fans have not been able to contain their excitement. The very sight of the wallpaper has them ready to play Modern Warfare III. The campaign will bring a new twist to the story, as it looks very likely that an old villain will make his comeback to the series: Makarov.

One fan certainly looks prepared for the event.

One fan did not have words to describe their emotions. All they needed was Ghost’s approving nod, and Call of Duty agreed. They replied with a GIF of Alejandro. Looks like Call of Duty knows that Ghost’s nod is all they need to know what fans are thinking.

Apart from just being hyped for the game, fans could not help but appreciate the quality of the Vault Edition artwork. It seems a lot of fans found their wallpaper ahead of Modern Warfare III’s release.

The hype for Modern Warfare III is real. All fans have to do now is wait till Thursday and find out what the event and Vault edition entail.
