In case anyone is not aware, Jessica Mao is the music producer on 2022’s successful PS5 release from Santa Monica Studio. This was “incredibly disappointing and discouraging” for her, as she didn’t understand why this situation occurred. She also wrote that when she asked why her name wasn’t there in the credits, she was told that her contribution didn’t meet the “minimum criteria” to be credited. Knowing this, she was unsure as to what kind of criteria is actually needed in the first place.

Furthermore, Jessica Mao also noted that even a new update can’t add her name in the credits for God of War Ragnarok. This is actually disheartening to see, since a lot of people have worked on this amazing project. And when someone gets excluded due to any reason, it feels sad, to say the least.

Hopefully, the developing team will address this issue as soon as possible. Maybe they will find a way to credit Jessica as the music producer on the PlayStation 5 exclusive.
