The recently wrapped Street Fighter 6 Showcase gave an inside look at the game to the fans, making the hype reach brand-new levels. But this new leak may take things even higher by a notch!

Street Fighter 6 may have a battle royale mode!

One of the most trusted insiders of SF, HOT97 has dropped a serious new leak. Previously the leaker had accurately predicted features like the RPG-like Story mode, and characters getting bruised as they fight. He also leaked the ‘VS Mode’ and more, prior to the April 20, 2023, official showcase by Capcom. 

In his latest reports, the leaker has revealed that Street Fighter 6 will be having one-of-a-kind Fighting Game Battle Royale mode. Where players will be able to take single characters or join teams of two or three and compete against other players to be the last man or team standing. Think Fortnite, but instead of guns, all you have are your fists.

Who are the characters that will be joining SF 6 roster?

The game will be releasing on April 26, 2023. It will feature 18 fighters: Luke, Jamie, Manon, Kimberly, Marisa, Lily, JP, Juri, Dee Jay, Cammy, Ryu, E. Honda, Blanka, Guile, Ken, Chun-Li, Zangief, and Dhalsim. Other characters will be added through DLCs throughout the upcoming years.

SF 5’s Rashid will be the first to join in the summer of 2023. He will be followed by the new fighter, A.K.I. in Autumn 2023. Street Fighter 4/5’s Ed will be the third DLC character, coming in the Winter 2023. In the end, the legendary Akuma will finally join the roster in Spring 2024.
