Infinity Ward took to Twitter to share how they made Ghost’s mask for the much-anticipated Call of Duty game. Even while in the military, he was once captured by members of a prominent drug cartel and tortured heavily. After escaping, Riley took a lot of time to recover from the experience. Eventually, he ended the drug cartel and its leader’s existence. Afterward, he joined Task Force 141 as the Ghost.

Fans have created several theories revolving around his attachment to wearing a mask, which has also made him an extremely intriguing character.
