Interestingly, Ralph had a two-fold answer. They explained how “the fans are in a good spot,” Although, the same might not be applicable for the developers, Infinity Ward. Ralph states Infinity ward has lost essential employees involved in the development of various titles as of January this year.

Ralph also labels the situations as “the ‘shift’ they weren’t anticipating, under the constraints of typical ‘Call of Duty’ development schedules, to produce a game like MWII has cost them”. Surprisingly, employees in higher positions such as Directional and Lead roles have switched studios over the past month.

However, it seems the shift has not affected the foundation of the company. The leaker explained the massive changes were referred to as “normal” for Infinity Ward.
