Spider-Man 2 is probably one of the GOTY contenders this year. Fans have been waiting for it this year, and its hype has been very close to that of Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The only thing is, Sony and developer Insomniac have remained a little hush-hush about this game for a while now. They have given some small updates, but nothing significant was ever mentioned. There are no gameplay details, videos, or anything else. And now, multiple insider sources have revealed one very crucial detail about this game!

And that’s exactly what fans are doing; they are expecting the best from Insomniac Games when it comes to developing fast-paced action games. There have been a number of rumors about what this game would bring to its fans. Details of new villains such as Venom, Kraven the Hunter, etc. Details regarding the gameplay of this sequel have also been leaked or talked about over the years.

Some have even talked about how good-looking and insane this game is when it comes to action. After all these rumors, the actor who will play Venom in this upcoming sequel tried to talk about the release date of this game but had to delete his Tweet. He mentioned that Spider-Man 2 might release somewhere around September.

And now, in the past couple of days, similar claims have been made by a bunch of insiders. But what makes it more notable is coming from the reputed journalist Jason Schreier.

Schreier posted a Tweet that focused on the delay of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Further down the thread, he revealed the news regarding the potential release date of the Marvel game, saying,Spider-Man 2 in September could be a factor, too.”

Now fans wonder what to make of this information; this has happened a number of times before. People have revealed the date, and their claims were either refuted or removed forever.
