While Mirage is still a month away from release, the internet is flooded with people having great expectations after seeing the gameplay. And while PS users almost lost their sleep over this new Assassin’s Creed title, one Reddit user seemed to hold a completely different view.

On his Reddit, this person spoke about how he thinks Mirage won’t be extraordinary. While he is not quite determined to call it bad, he surely believes that it will not live up to the hype. He said that as Ubisoft is trying to cater to both the RPG and OG game community, they might end up failing to satisfy either of them.

This fan noticed Mirage’s gameplay was nothing but Valhalla’s combat movements with more speed. In fact, he mentioned how the game’s weightless combat will just satisfy role-playing game lovers. Furthermore, this person believed Mirage’s nostalgia is nothing but branding to make old AC players return to the franchise. Since the UI is the same as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Mirage will probably offer a similar experience.

Apart from repetitive combat, this person mentioned how Basim’s parkour skills lacked flow in animations from one place to another. This doesn’t end here as this fan further spoke about the poor-quality enemy AI. For him, this game’s enemy AI failed to offer an adventurous feel to the game. While this review seemed to take the social media on storm, fans still await for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Exciting details about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage will feature Basim as the game’s protagonist. He will transform from a small thief to a true Assassin’s Brotherhood member. Being a true member, he will set on an adventure to fight against the Templar Order.

The gameplay will feature 9th-century Bagdad taking serious inspiration from Assassin’s Creed 1. Apart from the franchise’s old eagle vision, Ubisoft will let players experience more thrilling parkour skills. And with the return of both Instant Assassination and more stealth in the gameplay, Mirage is set up to be a return to the roots.
