GTA 6 to get an announcement in 2022!

In case you are not familiar, there’s a highly reputable industry insider, Tez2, who is widely followed on social media and often throws away news on GTA. Recently, Tez2’s comment on a forum dedicated to the series caught the eye of YouTuber MrBOSSFTW.

While mentioning Tez2 in his video, the YouTuber revealed that the insider made an interesting claim regarding GTA 6 from Rockstar Games:

“Can’t wait for the announcement this year.”

What does this comment mean? Well, for some reason, this can’t be ruled out just as an assumption. Because Tez2 usually never makes a vague claim, given their track record so far. So, it may imply that Rockstar will come up with an official announcement this year.

However, taking history into consideration, GTA 6’s reveal won’t arrive until the beginning of the second half of 2022. The Red Dead Redemption developer and publisher could unleash exclusive information around October or November.

Now, if Tez2’s claim turns out to be correct, it will be a gift for the hardcore fans who are curious about GTA 6 at this moment. Well, every fan of the open-world franchise will be hoping that the game does get an announcement this year.

Meanwhile, Rockstar has been struggling in the last few months due to the backlash it received. That’s because of the remastered GTA Trilogy that was launched in November 2021, comprising various issues.

If the publisher wants to right the wrongs, then announcing GTA 6 will be the most appropriate step it needs to take this year.
