Insomniac Games is all set to launch its big-budget superhero experience, Spider-Man 2, as a PlayStation 5 exclusive. From the trailers, it looks like this game is shaping up to be a perfect follow-up to the 2018 masterpiece. It looks like they have used their time and the power of Sony’s latest console to the fullest.

And if this is not enough, Insomniac has yet another game in development simultaneously with Spider-Man 2. It is none other than Wolverine, which fans might be able to experience in 2024. But if one of their developers is to be believed, Insomniac is working on one more title.

Is Insomniac Games working on a Resistance title alongside Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine?

Spider-Man 2 is a huge game; of course, it’s hard to be sure of its size so long before its launch, but the hype and its budget already put it among the largest games released this year. It might have become one of the best-selling titles on PlayStation 5 through pre-orders alone.

With the likes of Kraven, Venom, and such, this game sure has much to anticipate. Similar is the case with Wolverine; according to rumors and leaks, Wolverine will be a beast of its own. It would also be an R-rated experience just so it could be true to the spirit of Wolverine’s style of fighting.

Now, a developer from Insomniac Games recently mentioned that this developer is in fact working on yet another game. There’s no confirmation of this title as of yet, but there was a job posting a while ago suggesting it would have multiplayer components.

And when we talk about Insomniac games and multiplayer, we expect them to develop a single-player game with online aspects. Many fans are expecting that game to be the revival of Insomniac’s PlayStation-exclusive sci-fi first-person shooter series Resistance.

For those unaware, there was a time when Insomniac used to develop two major games for Sony. One was the Ratchet and Clank series of action platformers, and the other was the Sci-fi first-person series called Resistance. It was a fun series with excellent weapon design. And its multiplayer mode was a blast too.

Hence, it would not be a surprise if fans literally jumped in excitement if this game turned out to be a reboot of Resistance.
