Knights of the Old Republic PS5 Remake is safe, Star Wars fans need not panic anymore
The original trailer for KOTOR PS5 was uploaded on the streaming platform YouTube after a PlayStation Showcase event. It’s going to be the reimagining of 2003’s classic of the same title. Following its announcement, it was revealed that Aspyr Studio would lead the project. Later, however, another piece of news came revealing Saber Interactive as the leading developer.

Fast forward to 2023, gaming fans recently noticed the absence of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic PS5 trailer. To their surprise, the makers had made it private on YouTube. Moreover, other related content on the remake was also removed from social media. It all led to an uproar across the internet. Following so much drama happening, a Sony spokesperson has now revealed the actual reason for why the trailer was removed.

What else is coming from Star Wars in the future?
Meanwhile, Star Wars enthusiasts will also get another treat in the form of Outlaws. It’s a different open-world title coming from Ubisoft. Initially announced during the Xbox Showcase event, it will feature a female protagonist named Kay.
Outlaws will allow the players to write their own story due to customizable choices in the narrative. They will also get the chance to fly across galaxies as a space pirate. In terms of the Star Wars lore, its timeline will be set between The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi.
Similar to other open-world games, it will also feature options like cooking, exploring, and making new relationships with the NPCs while taking up unique quests. As of now, its actual release date hasn’t been confirmed but a window for 2024 has been set. Coming back to Knights of the Old Republic, there’s no need for hardcore fans to panic. It seems to be going ahead smoothly as of now, according to Sony.
