Things to know before buying Street Fighter 6

The first impression Street Fighter 6 gives to fans is style and excitement. The game comes with a street punk hip-hop vibe and it goes along perfectly with the fighting theme of the series. Capcom has done a great job in creating the UI of the game, instantly mesmerizing fans.

With its creative UI, Capcom has outdone itself with the game mechanics. The addition of the Drive System has taken this classic fighting game to another level. The six bars in the meter let players do key special actions from the Drive System. The most notable one among them is Drive Impact. It is like a hit that breaks through blocks. Another notable power is Drive Parry, the complete opposite of Impact. It is like a tiny burst of powered-up defense and a successful Parry can replenish the gauge.

The control schemes of this game have also been simplified by Capcom for every playstyle possible. There game is very basic and accessible for complete beginners. Along with that, there are modern and classic control schemes. The classic control scheme is from the older titles of the series. The modern control scheme is a hybrid and easy-to-play scheme and looks more like a tutorial on how to play the game. Players are more likely to shift to the classic controls once they get the hang of the game.

Finally, the World Tour mode is the talk of the town. Adding RPG elements to a 2.5D fighting game was a bold choice from Capcom. But they have executed it perfectly, and it blends well into the Street Fighter universe. This open-world mode feels more like a career mode for the players.
