Fans have been enjoying the latest title from Activision in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II for quite some time now. The recently released Season 2 Reloaded update has finally made them engage in the game for the first time. Due to the increased fun factor, many players are happy with the ongoing content available in the blockbuster installment. Especially the latest map, which was added to the Multiplayer experience last week.

In case anyone missed keeping track of events, the makers recently introduced an original map for MWII in Season 2 Reloaded. It is called the Himmelmatt Expo. Ever since it was unveiled, the map has ended up being a go-to option for many users. So is there any chance for it to arrive for the Ranked Play as well going forward?

Will the Himmelmatt Expo be added to the Ranked Play in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II?

Unfortunately, the answer to this question is no. The Call of Duty League, as of now, is played on an older patch of MWII. That’s because of a kill-cam glitch that has been present in recent updates. According to Atlanta FaZe’s coach James Crowder, they can’t play a new map on an old patch.

And since the CDL rules are reflected in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s Ranked Play, a new map can’t be added to its experience just yet. It also implies that those who want to see the Himmelmatt Expo in Ranked Play will have to wait for a bit longer.

The makers are yet to decide on adding the map to the Competitive mode. An official announcement is yet to be made. Hopefully, the big news will be shared before Season 3’s release.
