If you’re not aware of MrBeast, the well-known American YouTuber with 132 million subscribers, you should know that, in contrast to other social media phenoms, he is a man who builds his fame for charitable reasons.

MrBeast opened up about how he spent more money than he had during his early giveaways

He is now the fourth most subscribed channel on YouTube, which places him in a rather privileged position given that the majority of the top-subscribed channels are owned by media corporations.

Regardless of the popularity of his main YouTube channel, Donaldson claims he was making a little money on the business before he reached two million subscribers. But because of the costs associated with his sometimes absurd antics, he also had to find ways to invest into making his channel what it is today.

It ended up costing around $55,000 when I expected it to be $30,000. and this was back when (it) was like everything I had.” While speaking with SIDECAST about giving three million pennies to his three millionth subscriber, MrBeast revealed, “I had like 40 grand in my bank account and I ended up spending like 50 grand on that video, and yeah, it was brutal.”

Despite his substantial earnings, he has acknowledged investing some of them in his videos. More specifically, his YouTube channel and website Beast Philanthropy place a strong emphasis on content related to relief efforts and campaigns. But his humble beginnings didn’t always begin in this way.

MrBeast channel has grown rapidly in recent years, owing to his oxy-optimized YouTube algorithm, altruistic approach to viral material, and gamified video themes.

He has also launched a successful worldwide burger business and a line of delivery-delivered food nibbles, all while generating millions of dollars, which he claims he is reinvesting in his channel. He has earned himself the nickname “Santa of YouTube” for giving millions of dollars to unrelated strangers, friends, and relatives. On a platform like YouTube, he has tended to provide more.

It is difficult to discern how he, as a magician, came to be, while gazing at such an influence and forgetting his struggles. However, one thing is for certain—he has nearly mastered the art of becoming viral.
