Former YouTube king PewDiePie once gave his opinions about Marvel’s mega-hit superhero movies. Although the global phenomenon that is the MCU has garnered billions of dollars at the box office, the Swedish YouTuber didn’t agree with it and shared his take on the same.
In an old video, PewDiePie expressed that the recent Superhero movies are incapable of impressing him. The Swedish YouTuber, who blames the fans for this, said, “I couldn’t care less about Superhero movies at this point. This is overhyped garbage.”

PewDiePie expressed confusion about why people go for Marvel films
According to PewDiePie, the new superhero movies from Marvel are bad because the fans are overhyping them. The YouTuber believed such films existed only because people were interested in them. He compared these films to online spam pop-ups, as many may question why these exist.
PewDiePie said, “I don’t know why people keep going to them. You made this. Okay? Just so you know. You made this. Okay? You know those pop-ups that says, ‘Hey congratulations! You won.’ And you’re like, ‘What a f**kin idiot!’ Who’s gonna click on that? They exist because people click on them. Damn it.”
He also presented the same take on the existence of Micro-transactions in EA games. They keep on implementing these pay-to-win features because people are buying them. “There’s people that pay it. That’s why it exists. Idiots Ruined Everything!!” said the former YouTube King. In the end, he lamented about how “Nothing is Pure” anymore.
After roasting the modern superhero movie, PewDiePie expressed his only wish. “I just want a good Batman movie again!”
Why does Pewds hate Marvel?
With over 30 films, the MCU is filled with a plethora of superheroes from Marvel Comics. Each year the MCU releases several movies and television shows that add more to the on-screen Universe. The franchise has a loyal fanbase spanning all over the world.
Felix once made an extensive video, describing why he hates the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He pointed out that one of the main points of his distaste regarding the MCU is the oversaturation of movies.
According to him, the characters are used to their limits and yet the producers are doing all they can to churn out as much revenue as possible from them. These characters are caught in a “money loop” where they will be milked till the end. He only pointed out “False idolization”, “Obsession,” and many other “damaging” traits that fans develop from these movies.
