Set to release in September, every little update on the title has all the fans’ attention. This time Starfield has the spotlight for a massive collaboration with Elon Musk’s SpaceX.

It has been a while since any giant project explored the vast unpredictable cosmos. Bethesda Software took on the challenge to develop one such ultimate sci-fi thriller. Taking the virtual world beyond the planet Earth required a lot of inspiring research work for detailing. The director has now revealed the inspiring involvement of SpaceX in the research.

Todd Howard, the director of Starfield recently in an interview opened up on the research period of developing the title. He acknowledged that Bethesda Game Studio knew the challenge had brought massive responsibility along and hence the makers took all the time needed for the development.

Commenting on the maker’s collaboration with SpaceX, he quoted, “Visiting SpaceX and walking in was like the Avengers meeting NASA. It’s amazing. I was really in awe. Giant machines that look for imperfections, giant structures like the space shuttle. I stand by the engines and think about these things leaving the orbit. Elon impresses me with what he’s doing now, reaching the edge of physics. I just marvel at the human ingenuity and scale.”
