In this year’s direct, fans got to see new titles as well as some remasters. New titles from Popular series like Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Splatoon, Contra, and Prince of Persia were announced too.

The last Nintendo Direct, which took place in June, featured Super Mario Bros. Wonder. And this time, Mario is back in a new title, much to the delight of fans.

Return of the Rivalry, Mario vs. Donkey Kong
A new title in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series was announced at this year’s Nintendo Direct. Fans are excited to see how their rivalry unfolds in the remake of the famous Game Boy Advance game. The game is scheduled to lauch on the 16th of February. Nintendo also made pre-ordering of the game available at the time it was announced. So what is Mario up to this time?
Donkey Kong has stolen all the mini Mario toys from the factory. Players must play as Mario to track down Donkey Kong and recover the stolen toys. Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the Switch comes with many new levels, each with their own obstacles and puzzles to complete. These stages require observation, quick thinking, and decisive action to complete.

New mechanics like handstand jumps and backflips will allow players to reach higher platforms and solve puzzles. Players must collect all mini Mario toys in order to complete the game. Players will also need to reach a key. And in order to do so, Mario will have to get through various obstacles and puzzles, including taking help of a monkey’s tail!
