Popular gamer and streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is known for expressing his opinions when he doesn’t feel right about something. In one of his recent streams, he shared an opinion that might stun many of his fans as well as fellow streamers.

During a Twitch stream on June 28th, xQc shared his thoughts on the Austin, Texas streaming house. Obviously, his views weren’t for good reasons as he spoke about how he felt wrong about the community there.

xQc criticizes Austin, Texas streaming house for being “extremely hostile” with “mega drama”

Lengyel has relocated several times in the past, for reasons such as swatting experiences, home invasions, and negative feelings towards city life. While he was streaming recently on Twitch, he shared with his fans what he felt about the Texas streaming house where he previously lived. The house includes other popular streamers like Sodapoppin, nmplol, and Malena.

xQc lived in Texas, during the early days of his career with partner Adept, who’s now his ex-girlfriend. Felix didn’t stay there for long though as he left with negative feelings in the end.

In his stream from June 28, xQc tried to explain that the lifestyle in Texas is basically toxic, “over-competitive for no reason”, and is filled with “mega drama”.

“It is extremely hostile, it’s overly competitive for no reason, it’s mega ego, and it’s mega drama. The amount of behind-the-scenes s**t is so stacked […] it’s f*****g insane the amount of drama behind the scenes,” he said.

Although he refused to say the names of anyone, he was quite firm in his stance about the Texas streaming community. Not taking the names was quite obvious since xQc himself mentioned that some people won’t agree with his opinions. Maybe he didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, especially those from the said location.

It will be interesting to see how this situation transpires in the coming days. Because his views on Texas will definitely catch the attention of other renowned streamers who might come out with their response very soon.
