It was announced earlier this year that the Japanese giant Nintendo would be acquiring Dynamo Pictures Inc., a visual production company. After the takeover, it was supposed to be named Nintendo Pictures. It seems like this deal has been finalized now as the developer and publisher just recently released an official website for the same.

Nintendo Pictures’ reveal creates massive hype among the fans!
As reported by NintendoLife, the newly established branch will focus on offering visual content for the IPs based on Nintendo. However, not everything is known about what the division will work on specifically. Speaking of the website, then the Mario maker left a short message for those who will open it.
The translation of the text from the website, by Google Translate and as reported by NintendoLife, states that “Nintendo Pictures is a video production company wholly owned by Nintendo Co., Ltd.” It will help in making the people learn more about the company’s gaming “characters through video.”

Furthermore, the website also mentioned that Nintendo Pictures‘ team will “work hard to create an organisation that can continue to grow by engaging in video production with interest.” This is nothing significant from which one can assume the kind of content this division will work upon. It will be interesting to see what exactly is the purpose behind setting it up.

However, fans have already started celebrating after the website was officially revealed. While the Japanese giant is yet to announce anything on it, hardcore fans think that the branch will eventually work on making movies and anime shows based on their favorite characters from different Nintendo IPs.
Few of the users even tried to suggest that the website might be the beginning of Nintendo’s own cinematic universe, similar to the MCU from Disney and Marvel. “It’s the start of the NCU BABY!!!!!!”, wrote one enthusiastic fan on Twitter.
