Brooke and xChocobars, the two pioneers of Twitch, have shared their fears on the 100 Thieves podcast, and fans are worried for them.

Every industry showcases its glamour, fame, and popularity to the public, but never its dark side. This is the one that affects people the most, and still, they decide to keep mum due to reasons. However, there are a few that are open with their choices, laying down facts out loud.

A recent example of this can be taken from the newly begun 100 Thieves show, ‘That’s what she said.’ There, two content creators have laid down fears in the female streaming industry, wishing they would’ve learned these things before getting their legs deep in the water.

100 Thieves podcast guest talks about the fears female streamers go through on Twitch as well as the streaming world

With the ‘Courage and Nadeshot show becoming a grand success, 100 Thieves started another one. With the name ‘That’s what she said,’ the podcast was to explore the female streaming industry and the world that revolves around it. 

For that, show host Brooke invited xChocobars, a popular streamer on Twitch. She wanted to understand the challenges faced by streamers and how they tackled them at all times. It was an hour-long podcast where fans learned some key insights about the same. But then, one bit grabbed every person’s attention as xChocobars laid down the cons of streaming.

She started off on a good note, talking about how great it was to be part of the streaming world. However, the conversation quickly took a dark turn as the Twitch streamer spilled some details. xChocobars said, “There’s things they wish they knew more about streaming before like blowing up and stuff. Do your research on things that are your privacy and it’s used for evil too. It’s not even like a good God. It’s like a no I know where you live and I’m gonna hurt you.”

The IRL streamer also spoke about how some creators regretted doing face reveals, the rise of Deep Fake (AI), and more. So, she urged them to do thorough research before tagging along, as it was one of the most alluring worlds. 

All in all, streaming not just has its cons as it helps streamers establish themselves in the world, gain enough recognition, and also become a source of steady income.
