The Fan Attacks MIT Scientist Lex Fridman for Elon Musk Ties
Recently, the podcaster made some headlines as he was seen giving an unexpected pitch amid the recent Elon Musk and Twitter drama. Elon had hosted a poll saying, “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.” The Poll had two options, ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
The results of the pole were majorly against Elon. Looking at the end results, Elon Tweeted, “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.”. By the time of writing this article, there haven’t been any updates on this statement. But so far, many have applied for the position. Including Lex Fridman.
Lex who had featured Elon in one of his podcasts and considered him his friend, replied with a pitch. He said, “Let me run Twitter for a bit. No salary. All in. Focus on great engineering and increasing the amount of love in the world. Just offering my help in the unlikely case it’s useful.”
Many believe this comment wasn’t very warmly received by Lex’s followers. He has been witnessing some attacks that he isn’t appreciating at all. To give an idea about these attacks, he said, “For example, my Wikipedia page was edited to mostly remove my time at MIT.”. But still, Lex stated, even though the “attacks aren’t fun” he will continue to “remain optimistic”.
What did his fans say?
Fans didn’t shy away from putting him in the corner and blaming him for all kinds of accusations, including his reaction and interest in becoming the head of Twitter.
For one, He tried asking to be CEO of twitter.

Maybe, just maybe….some fans of yours are growing tired of the "love and positivity" word salad you occasionally post, while at the same time you have an infatuation with deeply flawed friends of yours like Elon, and you don't ask the tough questions anymore
