Ludwig reported having over three million followers on the purple platform and used to get tens of thousands of views. But then Ahgren suddenly dropped the major bomb on the streaming community by revealing his shift to YouTube. Currently, he’s a streamer and content creator for a Google-owned company.

Why did Ludwig quit Twitch to join YouTube?

A good deal might think Ludwig changed sides because of getting a better offer from YouTube. Obviously, that is part of the reason behind the move. But it is not everything, as the YouTuber shared he made this transition because YouTube gave him more importance compared to Twitch.

In a Mogul Mail video, the YouTube streamer revealed despite getting a big offer from YouTube, he chose Twitch and told YouTube representatives, “I’m going with Twitch.” But the respect he received from the red side just melted his heart to join them instead of being with the purple platform.

He shared, “They fought for me and I realized at that moment that even though I’ve been with Twitch for three-plus years, even though people call me the golden boy of Twitch, I’ve never felt like the golden boy of Twitch. I’ve never felt particularly loved by Twitch. I love Twitch, but it hasn’t been a two-way street.”

Ludwig currently live streams on YouTube, where he has over 3.86 million subscribers. Further, he also has a secondary channel called Mogul Mail, and it also has over 1.1 million subscribers. So, the 27-year-old isn’t regretting his decision. Also, this proved that respect in the workplace is more important than money.
