This Daniel Craig starter movie is the sequel to another Craig movie named “Knives Out.” If someone is a huge fan of thriller detective films then it can be a go-to this holiday. There has been a lot of praise for the movie and Craig’s performance. But what was surprising to see was Dave Bautista’s mind-blowing performance.
Dave Bautista played a phenomenal Twitch streamer-turned-YouTuber
Dave Bautista, better known as Batista, needs no introduction. He is a WWE legend known for his fighting style and iconic finishing move called “Batista Bomb.” However, he no longer gets inside the ring to fight. Instead, he has found a new challenge in life, and that is acting in movies.

Bautista has already made a name in acting by playing the iconic MCU character Drax in The Guardians of the Galaxy. But that role didn’t get his acting prowess much acknowledgment. He finally got that acknowledgment for his performance in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
The WWE legend took on the role of Duke Cody, who is a Twitch streamer-turned-YouTuber and men’s rights activist. Further, Duke was the first Twitch streamer to reach a million followers. Everyone applauded the 53-year-old Bautista for his performance as Duke. The movie’s director, Rian Johnson, even claimed Dave is the ‘Greatest Wrestler-Turned Actor’.
How did the audience react to Rian Johnson’s claim?
The WWE fans were divided about Rian Johnson’s statement on Dave Bautista being the best wrestler-turned-actor. Some fans disagreed and claimed there are other actors like John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. But some agreed with Johnson and believe Bautista to be better than Cena and The Rock.
John cena is his only competitor

The rock plays the same role. Cena is good but is also very stiff plays very similar roles. The amount of depth Batista does is amazing. When I see rock or Cena I think that’s the rock or John Cena where as Batista I see the character he’s portraying

Rian ruined SW but he’s right about Dave. His comedic timing is incredible. He knows what kind of physical space he occupies and uses understated subtleties to own every scene he’s in. He can also be huge. No other wrestler comes close.

I think Cena has the same passion and respect for acting (unlike The Rock, who sees it as a check and a gig), but also isn't that good outside comedy and action roles, so he's kinda cautious with his roles
Bautista really looks to push himself and his roles as much as he can— Belzeboomfie 🪰 (@WGMarat) December 27, 2022
Rock does the same face in every damn movie and wears almost same stuff. Not good with physical comedy but has good one liners
Cena has good physical comedy and good facial expressions has range
Bautista has excellent physical comedy and one liner delivery, has a good range

Roddy Piper was a better actor. He just wasn’t as successful… pic.twitter.com/V2SubepY7V
