Dr. Disrespect has been the talk of the town for the past few days. It all started when the two-time posted a tweet in favor of his favorite NBA team, the Warriors, who were the contenders for this year’s NBA Championship. Later, he became a part of heated controversy during game 3 of the finals, as fans accused him of tripping the best shooter in NBA, Steph Curry.

Dr. Disrespect might face multiple issues in his upcoming Fortnite tournament

On May 27, Twitter user Jake Lucky put out a post about an upcoming Dr. Disrespect event. With the name ‘Hot Shot Duo, Drop Zero Build tournament,’ Doc will host the event in the Fortnite world. Interestingly, the event is worth $100k and will feature some of the big names of the gaming industry.

Even though this may sound exciting, this event has a dark side.

We all know about the Warzone expert being banned from Twitch back in 2020 for unknown reasons. The ban became controversial as Twitch released strict policies about featuring the banned ones on the stream. So, even with such massive fan-following and popularity, the two-timer was never seen on stream.

Now, the Twitch rule is supposedly affecting Doc’s upcoming tournament, as reported by BoomTV. Apparently, the streaming platform has put out guidelines against the host, which look very upsetting.

The opening line strictly prohibits users from advertising or featuring suspended users. Quite sad, right? Well, there is more. Twitch does not want any streamer to use any names related to Dr. Disrespect, such as Two-timer or Blockbuster video game champion. Additionally, Twitch wants all participants to hide, mute, and avoid anything about him during the event.

Dr. Disrespect is hosting a Fortnite tournament on May 27th, 2022. The event will feature some big names in the gaming industry competing for a $100,000 prize. The event uses a unique format as players cannot build in the game. Players taking part will partner with only one friend as Doc set the tournament in a duo format.

The action will kick in from 1 PM PT, and users can watch it on Dr. Disrespect’s YouTube channel.
