A few months ago, West publicly showed distaste towards Kim Kardashian’s decision in allowing her daughter North West to use TikTok. “Since this is my first divorce I need to know what I should do about my daughter being put on TikTok against my will?” said Kanye on Instagram (now removed), sharing a blurry screenshot of his eldest daughter, North West’s TikTok.

After the incident, Kanye urged for reforms on the online short video-sharing platform. In his recent stream, xQc boldly agreed with Kanye’s take. “I have my opinion straight up, no filter, no reading the chat, live freestyle, and whether it make me right or left, I don’t give a f**k… I am gonna give you my takes…about children being weird on TikTok, Kanye was right plus Kim Kardashian was wrong,” boldly claimed xQc on his stream.

“My children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission,” Kanye had said about his daughter being on the social media platform without his permission. Although TikTok permits any individual over the age of 13 to make an account, it makes the account of users under 18 years ‘private’ and locks it.

In 2019, the company also set the minimum required age for live streaming to 16. North West, being only 9 years of age, still managed to make TikTok because the account where she appeared was actually registered under her mother’s details. This allowed her to bypass the guidelines and appear in TikToks. However, Kim Kardashian herself doesn’t support her daughter being exposed to social media such as TikTok without her consent.
