But that’s not the only sport the 21-year-old likes to excel in. Chloe is also an avid Call of Duty player. Earlier, Chloe was seen relaxing inside the Olympic bubble with the pandemic restrictions still in place. She and her teammates enjoyed a thrilling game of virtual Call of Duty ahead of the major competition.

Significantly, that’s not the only time fans have seen the gold medalist engage in some competitive shooter action. In a video from 2019, Kim is seen playing CoD with Minnesota Timberwolves star, Karl-Anthony Towns.

Chloe Kim’s gamer rage moment

The video starts off with an amusing surprise. Fans see Chloe towering over the 2.11m tall behemoth Karl-Anthony Towns in an elaborate prank. But soon the ruse is pulled, and all Chloe has left to contend with is her skill with the sticks. Fun fact, Chloe’s gamer tag was GoldMedalGurl01 during the filming of the video, it has aged nicely for the snowboarder.

The athletes fill their interaction with banter and friendly back and forth as they set up for their eventual showdown. Once they drop into the game with their preferred loadouts, Towns swiftly seizes the first kill as he guns down a disappointed Chloe.

As kills keep racking up, Chloe clearly gets dominated by Karl. Notably, by the end of the first round, the NBA pro had secured a clear victory over Chloe’s team. But the best moment of the video came during the subsequent round. As Towns runs out of bullets he switches to his melee weapon, executing a player as they run into each other during an interaction that didn’t last more than a second.

But that player was none other than Chloe. And that kill secured the round for Towns yet again. What followed was hysterical. A visibly disappointed Chloe announces, “I‘m upset,” before picking up the nearby chair and dashing after him. As Karl dodged the encounter, both of them laugh at the hilarity of the situation.

Chloe might not have won the duel, but her legion of fans are still proud of what the athlete has accomplished at such a young age. Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
