Once dominated by Twitch, the streaming world has seen the rises and falls of many streaming platforms. While YouTube is there, it is not wholly a streaming-oriented platform. Microsoft had also tried its hands on the streaming industry with the introduction of Mixer in 2016. But amidst severe competition and an inability to pay heed to streamers’ issues, it was shut down four years later. But after all of this, Twitch seems to have found a worthy opponent in Kick.

Sapnap Turns Green from Purple

Renowned Minecraft streamer Nicholas ”Nick”, better known as Sapnap, is going to join the TrainwrecksTV-backed platform Kick. He started his streaming career on YouTube, streaming Minecraft. But he really burst onto the scene when he founded Dream SMP Server and became known for his Minecraft challenge videos with the Dream Team.

After joining Twitch in 2013, he garnered 3,302,411 followers. Now, coming to the Kick, Sapnap announced his Kick joining in probably the most unique way. He has shared a video in which we can see him streaming and his neon purple Twitch nameplate continuously falls off from his desk behind him. Feeling frustrated, he throws the plate.
