However, it also means that fans now want more content in the future from The Last of Us series.

PlayStation had a solution by creating a live-action adaptation of the series. And the series was an astounding success in its own right. But now, looks like fans are looking for more playable content from Naughty Dog have some good news.

A new The Last of Us title is in the works

This may come as a surprise to many fans, but looks like Naughty Dog is working on the latest entry of TLOU. Well, according to known movies leaker DanielRPK, they are. Recently, the leaker shared a mysterious Tweet pointing out that the third part of TLOU is in the works.

However, his Tweet was met with skepticism from fans. They demanded what was the proof of his leak and many dismissed it. Fans stated he was just speculating and asked for something concrete. Moreover, other fans should definitely be taking this information with a grain of salt.

Some comments in the past from Naughty Dog gave some footing to the claims made by the leaker. However, the development of the title is still a rumor and fans should treat it accordingly.

Naughty Dog’s next title is already in the works

Back in March, Neil Druckmann, the Naughty Dog president, shared his views on the upcoming title from the studio. Fans wanted to know whether they will be getting the next installment of the TLOU series. To this, Druckmann did confirm that the studio is working on a title but did not confirm if it is the title from the beloved series.

“I know the fans really want The Last of Us Part III,” he said, “I hear about it all the time and all I can say is that we’re already into our next project so the decision has already been made, I can’t say what it is but that’s the process we went through.”
