Seeing our favorite content creators and streamers work together in videos feels normal. However, witnessing them out together on the soccer pitch is a unique feeling. Every year, the Sidemen Charity match sees some of the top creators from all over the world participate in a game of soccer. Last year’s event was a colossal success, especially with the addition of iShowSpeed to the list.

Although iShowSpeed is a fan favorite, last year, KSI did have a bit of a tiff going on with the streamer, as both played on opposite sides. Speed got a little heated when it came to tackling the PRIME giant, and fans had a good laugh. This time, however, KSI has an answer.

KSI predicted he would keep a clean sheet as a goalkeeper this time, and will not be letting iShowSpeed score a single goal. On a call with Kai Cenat about the upcoming match on Saturday, September 9, KSI was asked how many goals he would score. Once Cenat realized KSI would be the keeper, he asked how many KSI would save.

KSI had a resolute answer ready, going on to say, “I know Speed’s going to try and score against me so I’m going to concede zero. That is my mission.” Fans might remember last season when Speed got a little too aggressive with KSI.

This time, however, since KSI will be the goalkeeper, the only way Speed gets to take KSI head-on will be in goal-scoring attempts. But why exactly is the famous content creator playing in goal when he played in midfield last year?

What most fans wondered was the reason behind KSI being a goalkeeper. While he usually plays in a midfield position, this time around, he needs to protect himself from injuries. In a little over a month, he will be fighting Tommy Fury in a boxing match. A potential injury could end up ruining the event, making the keeper spot an obvious choice to stay safe from tackles, especially from Speed.

On the other end of the field, xQc will stand between the sticks, as he is the YouTube All-Stars XI keeper. It will be interesting to see how the match plays out. One thing that can be said with certainty is that the game will be entertaining!
