KSI Votes Against IShowSpeed Being in Sidemen Charity Match Leaving the Young Star to Respond- “I Don’t Even Know if I Can Like Look Up to This Guy Anymore”

IShowSpeed has broken down after watching KSI’s recent clip, and he thinks the English YouTuber took it too far. 

IShowSpeed and KSI are known to share banters online and in other comedic ways. While the influencer boxer has cited to see his younger self in Speed, the young star is recording new milestones and hypes the community with his charm. Recalling last year’s Sidemen Charity Match, Speed was undeniably a highlight of the show but it seems this year, the boxing star doesn’t want him on the same pitch as him.

Apparently, Speed claimed KSI has upset him with his recent comment and that there was no need to say such a thing, thus, hurting him deeply. But, if we say that their recent differences have their roots deep, will you agree? Well, for starters, let us tell you the harsh truth. Despite considering it as banter, IShowSpeed, and KSI have never missed an opportunity to troll one another. So, here’s a walkthrough of the controversies that made them reach a breaking point. 

Why KSI does not want IShowSpeed in this year’s Sidemen Charity Match and are the two still friends?

To answer the latter part of this question, we’d like to take you on a trip down memory lane. We’d like to shed light on some instances and allow you to form an opinion on whether KSI went too far or if Speed really deserved it.

It all started with football, right before the FIFA World Cup 2022. The Sidemen invited IShowSpeed for the Sidemen Charity Match 2022, which featured multiple celebrities. From MrBeast, Chunkz, and Filly to Miniminter, KSI, and more, all divided into two teams. However, Speed had a terrible performance as he featured in a harsh tackle over KSI.

Not to forget his strange behavior with the referee, where he smacked his back with a yellow card while taking off his jersey. The entire game Speed had a very disruptive attitude, and one could see it. Still, none of the players said anything and let him do his thing. And post the match, KSI simply said Speed owned him throughout. 

Fast forward to the World Cup, and JJ fired shots at IShowSpeed by asking him to bet. After all, we all remember how Speed worshipped Portugal’s team and wanted Ronaldo to lift the world cup. Sadly, things did not fall into place, and Portugal was eliminated in the quarter-finals. But amidst that, KSI irked Speed by asking him to bet over $100,000 for a match. For him, calling out winners without placing a bet over it made no sense, and so wanted to play around with the 17-year-old. 

Then came November. This was the time when the duo met up in a locker room, impersonating Andrew Tate. Apparently, Speed challenged KSI to a boxing match as he knew that he could easily win. However, the latter did not respond to the request, giving the YouTuber an opportunity to trash talk. And Speed being Speed, had no limits for name-calling.

After all, their relationship looked nothing more than banter, with the duo accepting it. But then, IShowSpeed played the devil multiple times, leaking KSI’s number to the public. With this, the content creator put JJ in an awkward spot twice. This angered him as he was highly disappointed with his American friend. However, the community firmly believes that their friendship is one to not be broken.

But recently, the Sidemen member took a dig at him by talking about the upcoming Sidemen Charity Match 2023. He joked about not wanting Speed back for the next event and that he was outrageous. Of course, JJ was joking and the 17-year-old barely paid attention to it. Sadly, KSI stirred the pot with his recent statements that broke the YouTuber down. He claimed that IShowSpeed lost his charm and that compared to 2022, he was a lost cause. And that was it. As soon as Darren saw this, he broke down. He said, “I don’t even know if I can look up at this guy anymore.” And last but not least, Speed explained how hurtful KSI’s jokes were.
