Goodbyes are never easy, and they always hurt. Formula One recently received a massive blow from the four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel as the German great announced his retirement from motorsport after the end of the ongoing 2022 F1 season.

The 35-year-old joined Instagram on July 27, which was a joyful moment for his fans. But little did they know that the Aston Martin driver would make his Instagram debut with heartbreaking news for fans and the F1 community.

After 16 years in the finest motorsport, Vettel has decided to call quits on his glorious career. The 2022 season wasn’t going as Vettel wanted it to. Recently, there have been many doubts about him quitting the sport at the end of the season. But those doubts are no longer there as he will not be on the grid next year.
