The answer is absolutely yes. Although the company is yet to speak anything officially to the public, a job posting at Criterion Studio sparked rumors among fans. This job posting asked for a talented World Artist to join this team of brilliants. The job description seemed more interesting as it said how the company is focusing to take racing games to the next level in the NFS franchise. This is after NFS Unbound got favorable reception from fans. However, the team’s actual intentions are still a mystery to us. Criterion Studio is currently developing a brand-new open-world set-up for their upcoming project.

Although, as fans, we didn’t receive many details, it seemed that the company would save their interesting aspects later for the title. Even if the fans didn’t get a concrete thumbs up, this job posting surely ignited a lot of happiness among the public.

This news hit the public when an NFS fan shared it with his community through his Reddit account- “I got this from Game Rant, so credit goes to them. They didn’t link their source, so I started questioning the validity of the article until I looked into it. There actually is a job listing under Criterion Games over on LinkedIn.” It seemed that this person took some extra effort to verify Gameranx‘s source and found the job posting on LinkedIn.
