Latest Nintendo Leak Teases a Massive Zelda Reveal in the Near Future

Nintendo is witnessing a great run at the moment with all of its 2022 releases turning out to be blockbusters so far. Now that the year is slowly heading to the end of its first half, the company looks to continue its golden streak.

When it comes to the most anticipated Nintendo titles in the future, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is, without a doubt, at the top of the fans’ wish list. Unfortunately, it saw a massive delay announcement, a few months back, for a release next year. But a new report now suggests that gaming enthusiasts might receive a major reveal from the awaited sequel next month.

The first Breath of the Wild entry made its debut more than five years ago in March 2017. Since then, it has managed to sway most of the players who love to explore a vast open-world with full of endless possibilities. The craze of BOTW was such that the publisher eventually decided to go for a second installment as well.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 was expected to release this year. However, all the hopes of a 2022 launch died down when Nintendo shared the news of a delay. But that doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be any updates on Zelda this year.

Going by a reputed industry insider, Samus Hunter on Twitter, Nintendo is set to include Zelda 2 during its upcoming Direct event next month. In one of their recent tweets, the scooper revealed that the publisher had filed an application for game processing methods. Interestingly, the inventors involved in this are people from the Zelda team.

 

This simply means that Nintendo is “preparing to unveil the Sequel to BotW in the next Direct, they also have multilingual dub ready, it was one…”

Apart from this, there’s not much that Samus Hunter mentioned in their tweet. But now the fans can at least take a breath of relief after knowing that Zelda 2 might receive a big showcase in June’s Direct.
