It was recently launched, in a beta form, on the Xbox console after Microsoft announced a collaboration with Discord in July. New leak suggests PlayStation fans will now receive Discord integration in 2023
Tom Henderson, who’s known as one of the most trusted and reputed scoopers on the internet, had recently published an article covering the details of Discord voice chat integration on the PlayStation. While giving out key information, he had previously revealed that a new update will make its way before the end of 2022, enabling the functionality.
However, the insider recently posted an update to his piece on Twitter. All things considered, it’s a pretty sad update for the fans of PlayStation 5. According to the latest information, leaked by Tom, the Discord voice chat integration won’t be released this year. In fact, it’s now been pushed further by six months.

Per Henderson, the Discord voice chat feature on the PlayStation won’t be coming before March 8th, 2023. It’s because the release of the update 7.00 has been extended further in the next year, instead of 2022 itself. Meanwhile, Version 6.00 will be arriving next month for the gaming console on September 7th.
