What is God of War Ragnarok about?

God of War Ragnarok is a direct sequel to the 2018 game. The events of the upcoming game take place three years after the last God of War game. The end of the world, Ragnarok, is nearing so Kratos and his son Atreus sets on a journey to prevent it.

Further, the father-son duo is also seeking answers behind Atreus’s other name Loki, revealed in the 2018 game.
