Sony’s PlayStation 5 is going to break all records!

Sony released the PlayStation 5 on 12th November 2020, giving gamers a new gaming experience. But the console turned out to be so successful that it got sold out pretty soon. After all, it sold over 17.3 million units just 12 months after its release.

Although, the Japanese giant faced multiple problems with the console, ranging from storage, bugs, and system updates to software issues and hard drive corruption. Soon, they conquered this, as their recent presentation revealed some shocking numbers.

Interestingly, the PS5 has been selling over 80,000 units in 82 minutes as compared to its sequel, which took nine days to par the number. Twitter user, Benji-Sales, revealed this in his Twitter post with a caption, ‘Sony illustrates PlayStation 5 High Demand Levels In the US PlayStation 5 is selling 80,000 units in 82 minutes when available compared to PS4 Selling 80,000 units in 9 Days at the same stage in their life cycles • PS5 – Nearly 1,000 units per minute • PS4 – 6 per minute’

Apart from that, Benji’s photo mentioned that people showed a 55% interest in the PlayStation 5, which was far better than what people did about the PS4.

Although these numbers indicate the dominance of the console, gamers all around the world still can not try their hand because of its scarcity. To this, the franchise has not put out any statement about the availability of the console, so the most we can do is to be patient.
