Being able to build new weapons and vehicles using existing materials just goes to show that maybe Nintendo is taking it a step further. The trailer showcases a bunch of characters being stuck in various places. Then it shows how all of those people used their creativity to craft some unusual equipment to overcome their problems.
One of them created a literal hovercraft, another got a mechanical minecart riding some rails, and best of all, a person showed off a huge hand cannon.
