American Rapper and Singer Lil Nas X “resign” from his post as the president of the popular MOBA League of Legends. In his final presidential address, Lil Nas X promised an upcoming banging performance that the League fans have never seen before.

Almost six weeks ago, League of Legends announced Lil Nas X as their new “President.” In his days of service, Lil Nas made some new and “interesting” changes in the Riot HQ. Like providing the employees with landlines to communicate instead of using discord, making his new world anthem Starwalking the background song of the office, and many more. 

Now, after serving the company for more than a month, Lil Nas has decided to “resign” from his post. He has explicitly said that he has decided on his own to leave his post. His past shenanigans and “innovative workplace practices” have nothing to do with his sudden departure.

But with his last address, the ex-president promised the fans that he will make an opening ceremony for the World that will surpass the previous ones.

Lil Nas X leaves his post as president to focus on far more “doper things”

The official YouTube channel of League of Legends posted a video on November 2, 2022. The Video was titled, “LIL NAS X’S FINAL PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS | WORLDS 2022 OPENING CEREMONY”. In the video, Nas gave his final presidential address and gave a sneak peek about what was coming.

Lil said, leaving the post, “My decision was mine, and it was mine alone. Because as much as I’ve enjoyed my time there, I need to focus on my mind and soul on bigger and dopper things. Such as creating the greatest world’s opening ceremony we’ve ever done.”

So how will Nas top the previous year’s ceremonies, Where League had brought dragons, K-Pop bands, and even a real-life setup of the Hit Netflix adaptation Arcane? Lil Nas X answered the question by saying, “I’ll tell you how, ME!” He added, “There will be a bunch of other cool stuff too, but, mostly ME!”. And then he broke the podium.

If fans want to watch the games in person, they will have to go to the Chase Center in San Francisco, California on November 5, 2022. The Grand finale will take place at the venue between the qualifying teams.
