The T1 CEO Joe Marsh once revealed in a podcast interview that Faker receives contracts from China every year, which are easily worth $20 million to play in their league. Marsh said, “He always gets offers, even this off-season. I had to fly to Korea after the free agency started because he was a free agent, and every time he’s a free agent, the offer from China comes in. It’s, you know, $20 million a year.”

The T1 CEO revealed the League pro never thinks about money, as he is one of the wealthiest players in the eSports scene. Further, Lee owns a tower in Korea called the Faker Tower. Moreover, the 26-year-pro apparently has many investments, and he’s also the part owner of his LoL team T1.

Even a blank cheque can’t buy the League of Legends pro

The $20 million offers from China weren’t the only lucrative offers that Faker rejected. The player has also got an even more handsome contract from a League of Legends Championship Series team.

The former League player and OfflineTV co-founder Scarra revealed in a podcast that Lee was offered a blank cheque by the American eSports team, Team Liquid, to join them and play in the States. But Faker being Faker, rejected that blank cheque without hesitation.
