Nintendo and Game Freak recently held a Pokemon showcase. There they revealed a bunch of new Pokemon content, majorly the expansion for their popular game Pokemon Scarlet and Violet for Nintendo Switch.

The DLCs would be divided into two parts and would be released during the Fall and Winter of 2023. But what many ardent fans of the game don’t know is that this information was leaked way before this announcement. The person who revealed this information also revealed some very interesting information about Nintendo Switch 2 as well!

Nintendo revealed the expansion pack for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet recently. This game, which is already uber-successful, has seen continuous updates ever since its launch.

One possible reason why the developers kept working on the game might be because of the glaring issues that kept plaguing this game. And now with this expansion pack, they have even given its fans a reason to hold on to it a little longer.

But, someone leaked this announcement of the Expansion pack’s way before this recent presentation. A 4chan user who claimed to be a developer on this expansion was indeed the leaker.

They very accurately revealed every single detail regarding this expansion, alongside the pre-order bonuses that come with it, i.e. bonus costumes and Pokemon. They even revealed the category of this expansion’s legendary Pokemon.

And the last and most interesting detail they revealed was the fact that they have been working on this DLC for a while, and they have also been tasked to work on a graphical upgrade for this DLC.

This graphically upgraded version is in development for the New models of Nintendo Switch, and those new models would be launched alongside DLC 2.

And fans must remember that DLC 2 is due for the launch in the winter of 2023. This means we might see Nintendo Switch 2 by the end of 2023. Most of this information ended up being accurate.

If Nintendo is planning those models for later this year, the reveal might be not very far.
