Fans waiting for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 are in for a massive treat. It seems like they will get a special combo of the PlayStation exclusive with the latest console’s upcoming ‘slim’ version. Yes, the PS5 Slim bundle is coming soon with the rumored Game of the Year contender, reports a new leak.

An insider has just shared some crucial news regarding the recently announced PS5 Slim. It will feature Spider-Man 2 and is expected to be priced $559.99. For the release date, it’s been reported to arrive on November 8, 2023.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 Slim bundle is almost here!

Billbil-Kun, a reliable industry insider, recently took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He mentioned an important update on the newly revealed PS5 Slim model. In the United States, it will have a disc player, but without the dedicated design. Moreover, the bundle will pack an exclusive game in the form of Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2.

The leak reported on Dealabs website has revealed that the confirmation is yet to be made regarding Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It will be interesting to see if the title’s copy will be in a dematerialized format or not.

Speaking of Spider-Man 2, it’s set to come out on October 20 worldwide. Early reviews have already called it the best entry so far in the latest PlayStation generation. As of this writing, it’s got a stellar score of 90 on review aggregating website MetaCritic. The score is based on 129 reviews from the critics so far.

PS5 Slim release date confirmed

Going by the aforementioned intel, the model is coming out on November 10 in the United States. It applies to both the Standard and Digital versions of the console. Surprisingly, it’s the same date for PS5 Slim’s debut in Japan as well.

As for other regions like France, there’s no information available at the moment. Speaking of the PS5 Slim specs, it’s set to have 1 TB of storage capacity for the Standard Edition. The same number goes for the Digital Edition as well. It’s a nice jump from the original models of the PlayStation 5 with 825 GB of capacity.

Players will be able to use an Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive with the Digital version. One can buy it separately for $79.99. In its size, PS5 Slim has been reduced by 30 percent compared to the base model. There are four individual cover panels, including the top part in a glossy appearance. The bottom is still in a matte finish though.

So if the leak pans out, while fans who ordered the current Spider-Man 2 bundle will be able to boast the impressive bundle for now, PS5 slim owners will get to join the bandwagon.
