What platform would the game launch on, though?
One thing that is proving to be very confusing to everyone is the platform Retro Games is targeting for Metroid Prime 4. Some say it would be launching for the Nintendo Switch, while others suggest it would be coming for the Switch 2.
There is even speculation that Nintendo is planning to release it as a cross-platform title. Which means it will release on both Switch and Switch 2. This would fit just right with their plans to support the first Switch console until fiscal year 2025.
