Sadly, a hacker published them on the GTAForum, “where the hacker threatened to release more information, including the source code for the Grand Theft Auto game currently on sale.”

On September 19, a Rockstar spokesperson revealed that the franchise had fallen prey to a cyberattack, making them lose important files concerning GTA 6. So, they decided to involve the FBI and investigate the issue in a further way.

Both parties spent an entire week investigating, not to mention the sleepless nights. They put in their 100% as they had something huge at stake. As a result, they found their first suspect in the United Kingdom, arresting him over a handful of allegations and a possible link. They arrested the suspect from his home in the southeastern county of Oxfordshire, keeping him in custody until further notice.
