Pokimane is one of the most prominent creators on Twitch and has a following of 9 million. Significantly, her illustrious journey has been the source of inspiration for the streaming community in general.

As such, it’s no wonder she received the Legacy Award at The Streamer Awards 2022. The QTCinderella and Maya Higa hosted affair saw the who’s who of the streaming scene gather under one roof. And fans can finally see things from Pokimane’s perspective in her latest vlog.

Pokimane finally releases her Streamer Awards vlog

The first-ever Streamer Awards were held in Hollywood, California, and was a coveted affair. Organizers QTCinderella and Maya Higa brought together a stellar cast of creators under one roof. Making the event truly memorable and entertaining.

Amongst the sea of popular faces was the Queen of Twitch, Pokimane herself. She saw a nomination in the Valorant and Legacy Award categories, of which she won the latter.

Her latest vlog starts with the creator getting ready for the Awards. While she does her makeup, the fans get an adorable shot of her cat Mimi alongside her. However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, as a wardrobe malfunction makes her improvise her outfit and reach the venue alone. But once there, she met up with a colorful cast of characters in Valkyrae, Ludwig, and more.

Eventually, with the Legacy category being announced, fans got to see a beautiful montage of Pokimane’s magical journey. The video even made the streamer cry, and she later revealed how the video made even her friends cry.

Surprisingly, the creator also revealed the grim fate of her physical award. In her own words, “Actually, I ended up accidentally dropping and breaking little trophy! So it broke, and even its little foot came off. But I collected every piece. And I’m gonna super-glue it back together, mark my words.”

Pokimane ended the vlog by thanking her audience and the organizers of the event for their efforts. While her award may have met an unforeseen fate, none doubt that she absolutely deserves it.
