Since its global launch in 2022, Activision’s Modern Warfare II, the newest Call of Duty title, has gone through an unexpected phase. Yes, it has broken sales records while making new ones, but there have also been tons of issues. Not to mention that lots of players have been very vocal about the overall experience they have had so far with this specific entry. Especially when it comes to diving in the Multiplayer in general.
The Multiplayer aspect of Call of Duty has always been its strong point. At least, that’s been the norm since the last decade, until the makers decided to take a new approach towards the battle royale category. The big change has resulted in a deterioration of the quality MP content fans used to get. As a result, many renowned CoD gamers have recently expressed an increasing frustration towards Activision’s series. Popular gaming YouTuber Spratt is also among them.

The ongoing installment in the franchise, Modern Warfare II, recently marked the end of an era for yet another known face in the community. Last month, Scump announced his retirement from the professional Call of Duty scene. And just a few days back, Spratt revealed his plans for the future concerning his YouTube gaming career based on the games in the long-running series.

Spratt mentioned in one of his newest videos that he has decided to stop covering Multiplayer content going forward. From now on, his primary focus will stay on covering Warzone 2 only. He wants to explore more of the battle royale side of the franchise. However, his reason for saying goodbye to Multiplayer was quite huge and painful to say the least.

According to Spratt, the current approach of the devs towards Multiplayer has been nothing less than disappointing. While sharing his feelings and honest opinions, he had also promised his viewers to give them a final montage to the series from his gameplay sessions covering different MP matches of old Call of Duty titles. As one can see, above, the YouTuber has tried to show the golden days of when he used to have a blast with the Multiplayer content. That won’t be possible now as he has paid his last tribute to the online mode.
